Below is a list of volunteer positions each team of players’
parents will take on this season. Our league provides support and training
pertaining to each of these positions, and each position may have multiple
volunteers with overlap.
Your efforts will make it easier not just for you, but for the
whole team. The more parents, friends and family that volunteer, the more
successful and fun the season will be for all.
● Team Parent
● Coordinate and
distribute uniforms and manager jerseys
● Coordinate team
banner/pendant
● Collect funds for team
activities
● Distribute
information/dates: open & closing day, picture day, buyout, fundraising,
etc.
● Coordinate team snack
schedules and pizza parties

● Team Umpire
● Attend umpire training
sessions and meetings
● Key Notes:
o Each
home team is responsible for providing an umpire.
o Many
training dates are available throughout the season
o (2)
team umpires would be beneficial. The more help, the better.

● Snack Bar Attendant/Grill
Attendant
● Assist with food and beverage sales during
games
● Key Notes:
o Each
team is required to cover shifts for the Snack Bar and Grill
o Each volunteer may sign
up for shifts at our Snack Bar/Grill Sign Up, or by coordinating directly with FVLL Team Coordinator

● Field Set Up
Manager
● Coordinate preparation
of FVLL fields 30 minutes before game start
● Key Notes:
o The home team must set up
the field before each game, and visitors must break down the field after each
game.
o Each team should have a
minimum of (2) parent volunteers who can set up and tear down for each game.

o Scorekeeper
training is provided by FVLL
o All teams, from Tee-ball
to the Junior division, must have a scorekeeper for each game o (2) scorekeepers are highly recommended
