Volunteer Reimbursement Program
Fountain Valley Little League
(FVLL) has a Volunteer Reimbursement Process designed to encourage community involvement.
Each player’s registration includes a $60 Volunteer Deposit, which is eligible
for reimbursement upon completion of the required volunteer duties.
Families can receive their
Volunteer Deposit refund by fulfilling one or more of the approved volunteer
opportunities listed by FVLL.

Snack Bar/Grill: For every hour worked in the snack bar or at
the grill, volunteer will receive $10 back
·
Umpires: For
every upper division game umpired (Minor B and above), volunteer
will receive $20 back*
·
A volunteer may not double dip hours
for volunteer reimbursement and other required volunteer service (such as
school community service hour requirements)
·
A volunteer who receives a volunteer
reimbursement for a shift / game is ineligible for snack bar meal
·
A volunteer who is volunteering without
receiving a volunteer reimbursement is eligible for a snack bar combo meal or
equivalent per shift / game
·
Volunteers are always eligible for water and
soft drinks during shifts
·
Age restrictions may apply to volunteers
·
The person volunteering need not be directly
related to the player’s family. Families may informally coordinate who will
volunteer for their volunteer reimbursement duties
·
Volunteers may be required to schedule
volunteer opportunities in advance, sign in / out, and are required to follow
rules and regulations related to their volunteer role
·
Volunteer reimbursement issued to
volunteer at the conclusion of the shift / game, in cash
