Player Evaluations

We look forward to welcoming you and your FVLL player for an enjoyable time to participate in some basic baseball evaluation drills, while meeting fellow FVLL players and Team Managers during your scheduled evaluation time.
Please note: player evaluations are mandatory for all players currently registered in a Minor C, Minor B, Minor A, Majors, Intermediate, and Juniors division, or are league-age nine or older.
These players must participate in the evaluations to be placed on a draft division team.

Evaluation Day Logistics:
All players need to be at the Fountain Valley Sports Complex fields 30 minutes before their evaluation time to warm up. Please check in at the table station set up between Fields 14 and 15
Make sure your player brings the following equipment:
Protective cup (males)
Hat (basic sun protection)
Fielding Glove (if they have one, or the league can provide one for the day)
Cleats (rubber only - no metal)
Bat with USA Baseball Logo (if they have one, or the league can provide one for the day)
Helmet (if they have one, or the league can provide one for the day)

Baseball evaluation drills will consist of:
Fielding ground balls at shortstop, and throwing to first base
Catching pop fly balls in the outfield, and throwing to infield
Batting balls off pitching machine, run to first base after last batted ball
